Celebrate forests and appreciate forest-based products with us at an experiential learning event held in conjunction of FSC Forest Week 2022 at Taman Tugu, Kuala Lumpur.

Free Tree Society Kuala Lumpur (FTS) is an environmental organisation that spreads the environmental stewardship message through giving away trees for free to green our Earth. Since 2013, FTS have given away over 40,000 plants to homeowners, schools, marginalized groups, community gardens and wildlife habitats to proliferate planting, to encourage biodiversity and to promote a love of nature. FTS runs a “Nature Education Programme” (sponsored by CIMB Islamic Bank) in partnership with Taman Tugu,
Established in 2012, The Green Factory (TGF) is Malaysia’s pioneering manufacturer of sustainable wood products. Located in Ampang, Selangor, TGF adopts a circular approach to the sustainable production of timber products, covering aspects in green manufacturing such as sourcing of eco materials, green design, green building, system efficiency, waste management and education.
The Taman Tugu Project is a not-for-profit initiative led by Khazanah Nasional Berhad, in collaboration with various public sector agencies and civil society organisations. The project involves the rehabilitation and conservation of Taman Tugu Park, a 66-acre urban green-lung forest park in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
