Deputy Director, Bank of Thailand

Premjit Somrattanachai has been responsible for Sustainable Banking Division, Financial Institutions Strategy Department since 2021. She has more than 10 years of experience in banking regulation, banking integration and financial services liberalization in accordance with regional cooperation frameworks as well as international standards.

In addition, Premjit was assigned to lead the secretariat team for the Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP) Review for Thailand from 2018-2019, and she was appointed as the personal assistant to Deputy Governor for Financial Institutions Stability prior to her current position.

Premjit obtained a Master’s degree in International Political Economy at University of Warwick, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science (International Affairs) at Thammasat University.
