Ms. Sharon Tan is the Strategic Engagement Director for Coca-Cola Bottling Investments Group (BIG), which is part of The Coca-Cola Company dedicated to investing in Coca-Cola bottling operations around the world, providing leadership to drive growth in critical markets and ensure long-term success. In her role, she provides strategic guidance to ensure that Coca-Cola bottling operations’ dialogues with key stakeholders across all BIG markets, which include 14 countries in South & Southeast Asia and the Gulf region, are effective and consistent.
Ms. Sharon joined The Coca-Cola Company in 2016 and has since taken on various roles including as Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability Director for Coca-Cola Singapore and Malaysia, as well as World Without Waste Partnerships and Policy Senior Manager for the ASEAN and South Pacific Operating Unit.
Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Ms. Sharon led the Public Affairs practice at Burson-Marsteller, a leading global public relations and communications firm, where she specialized in government relations, issues management and stakeholder engagement for a wide range of clients including large multinationals and NGOs.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Sharon had also worked in multiple roles in the Singapore public service, including in the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
