Mark has had a geographically diverse and broad based 30 year commercial banking career at leading financial institution Standard Chartered Bank including Country CEO roles in Japan and Thailand. Mark's last role at Standard Chartered was Group Head of Sustainability. He was in charge of the Group’s overall sustainability agenda, including responsibility for the Bank’s ESG risk management function. Mark presently serves on the board of anti-modern slavery NGO the Mekong Club and chairs global children’s foundation CNCF.org. Mark is also an advisor to global sustainability consultancy BSR. He is a member of the International Advisory Council of APCO Worldwide and is on the Advisory Board of Washington based FinTech4Good.
