Catie leads GBI’s external engagement with business practitioners and other stakeholders around the world to strengthen business practice by convening regional workshops and disseminating practical insights and lessons learned on managing human rights issues effectively. Catie co-founded and convenes a group of leading global law firms working together to advance implementation of the UNGPs within the legal profession. She has been immersed in the business and human rights space for more than a decade. Before joining GBI, Catie worked as an independent advisor to diverse organisations and as a lawyer with a leading Australian law firm. She holds a PGCert in Poverty Reduction: Policy and Practice from SOAS University of London, an LLM from the University of Melbourne and a BA/LLB (Hons) from Monash University. She is interested in how to drive change within organisations and at a global level.
