Aufa is a programme manager at Think City, leading the team of Conservation and Adaptive Reuse practice. Her work mainly involves management of conservation and public realm improvement projects, on-site coordination, stakeholder management and preparation of project budget and work programmes. She is largely involved in management of a special-purpose vehicle setup by Penang State Government and Think City, the George Town Conservation & Development Corporation (GTCDC), to implement various projects concerning heritage assets and national monuments. She has worked on the strengthening of Seawall Esplanade, streetscape upgrading efforts at North Seafront and overseeing conservation of Fort Cornwallis in the George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site.
