"As an environmental lawyer, I am heartened by the upsurge in the last decade of corporate interest in and concern for ESG issues present in financial risks and opportunities. Recognising the business case to act, enlightened businesses and investors are beginning their transition towards sustainability without waiting for governments to mandate action. Our firm has also invested in an ESG practice, amongst the first in this region, to better support our clients on their sustainability journey. While the transition may have begun, there is still much urgent work to be done".
