Founder of SOENECS
The Circular Economy Club (CEC) is the largest network of circular economy professionals with over 5,000 members and 150 member companies in 140 countries. CEC has a presence worldwide through a network of +260 CEC local chapters led by local organizers who bring together stakeholders and experts to help implement the circular economy at a local level. Eighteen of such CEC local chapters are based in the UK and include Bath, Birmingham, Brighton, Kendal, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, Liverpool, London, Sheffield and York. CEC counts over 50 CEC Mentors who are recognized experts in the field and regularly provide mentoring to CEC Members including students, startups and companies trying to embed circular economy principles.
David is also managing director and founder of SOENECS, a research and innovation practice in 2014 following 15 years in leadership roles in local and regional government. SOENECS provide strategic research, advice, training, solutions, chairing and facilitation on the topics of circular economy, environmental auditing, waste & resource management. His innovative projects include co-founding www.potholespotter.co.uk and www.techtakeback.co.uk.
