5 weekends. 10 art galleries. Over 50 artists. Over 200 artworks.
CIMB Artober welcomes you into the exquisite world of Malaysian art.
CIMB Artober 2020
October has traditionally been the month where our local artists and art galleries celebrate our Malaysian art, heritage, artistry and imagination. As part of CIMB’s The Cooler Earth Sustainability Summit themed ‘Resilience, Recovery, Responsibility’, CIMB Artober celebrates the #KitaJagaKita spirit by shining the spotlight on local artists and galleries, many of whom have been impacted by the on-going pandemic.
CIMB Artober aims to introduce local art to more Malaysians and make our arts and culture scene more accessible to all. CIMB is delighted to invite you to support local art and our home-grown Malaysian artists with its inaugural CIMB Artober, a collaboration between CIMB and nine renowned art galleries.

participating galleries, and CIMB Artober is also offering weekend staycation deals at two world-class hotels that are also well-known for
their local art collections, Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur and Element Kuala Lumpur.
Take advantage of the RM1,000 tax deduction on accommodation fee that is valid until December 2021.
In addition, for the first time ever, CIMB Artober invites you for an exclusive virtual tour into the homes of some of the most celebrated art collectors in Malaysia, as they share candidly about their passions and the joys of art collecting.

Creative industries and our cultural assets are valuable resources for generating livelihoods. They need to be protected and carefully managed as they can serve both as drivers and enablers for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (“SDGs”). The safeguarding and promotion of culture contributes directly to several SDGs, which in turn provides employment opportunities and promotes local production.
This October, indulge in staycations and gallery hopping; and start collecting and supporting our local art scene.
