Director of Sustainability Development, Charoen Pokphand Group Co Ltd

Somjettana is the Director of Sustainability Development for the Charoen Pokphand Group. He is responsible for leading the development and execution of corporate sustainability strategy for one of Asia’s leading conglomerates with operations in 21 countries covering agri-food, retail and telecommunications. In addition, he also works to embed sustainability into core business strategy and operations through partnerships, capability, and culture of sustainability.

Areas of focus in Somjettana’s work include corporate sustainability, integrated sustainability management systems, environmental stewardship and sustainability reporting & disclosure. 

Somjettana is part of the Circular Economy and Environment Committee, The Thai Chamber of Commerce. He is also in the Executive Committee, Thailand Carbon Neutral Network, as well as the Working Group, Sustainability Development, The Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking. 

Somjettana has a Masters of Business Administration (Strategic Management) from Thammasat University, a Masters of Environmental Engineering Science from The University of New South Wales, and had graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental Engineering) from Chulalongkorn University in 1996. He has also attended the Director Certification Programme (DCP) in 2019.
