Kamonnart Ongwandee is a designer, consultant, and design facilitator advocating for sustainability and regenerative practices at the intersection between fashion, textiles, and social innovation. After winning the CIMB Asean Scholarship, which helps to promote crafts culture in Southeast Asia, Kamonnart earned a Master’s in Textiles at the Royal College of Art in London.
Kamonnart is also an honouree for Forbes 30 Under 30 in The Arts Category, the Generation T Asia List 2019, member of Circular Design Lab Bangkok and Ellen MacArthur Foundation's Circular Economy Pioneers community in South East Asia. With work experiences in Bangkok, London and Paris, she is now a country coordinator for Fashion Revolution Thailand, and an educator and speaker on the topics of Circular Design, sustainable fashion, and design for sustainability.
Currently, she focuses on building local communities in Bangkok, with the belief that circular design and local social innovation have the power to create transformative human’s experiences, wellbeing, and shared social and environmental values for planet Earth.
