Marie Morice is the Head of Sustainable Finance at the UN Global Compact and responsible for its overall strategy and global implementation, focusing on developing innovative financial instruments to direct private finance towards critical sustainability solutions. Prior to her current role, she led the UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative's work in the US and Canada. Marie has more than 15 years of experience in global environmental and social issues and in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Marie recently worked for Barclays as Head of Global Sustainability Strategy for the CEO’s office, where she developed the bank’s global 2020 sustainability plan and helped create new commercial opportunities. Before joining Barclays, Marie worked in senior sustainability roles at Accenture, CSR Asia, the UK Department for Transport and WWF.
